The Kodak VR35 K40 is a classic compact camera for snapshots and was offered by Kodak in the late 80s. The lens is a fixed 35mm F/3.8 and is a fully automatic 35mm camera - the exposure and aperture are dealt for you!

It has manual film advance and rewind, a fixed-focus lens, and a built-in flash. It has a sliding lens cover which locks the lens. It has choice of film speeds (100, 200, 400 and 1000 ISO), which changes the aperture. Turning the flash on, even without batteries, also changes the aperture. Apart from the flash, the camera can operate without need for batteries.
